* I will not EVER bred Dapples to Piebald's. AKC does not recognize the mixed patterns of the Dapple and Piebald even if a dog is showing both in there coat, Please go to the AKC website and see the acceptable colors and pattern The only Two patterns excepted on one dog is the "Brindle Piebald", this combination does not cause health risks. Another pattern that you will see other breeders mixing together is Dapple to Brindle, although this doesn't pose any health risk now, it could in future if bred to dapple, The out come of the Dapple to Brindle breeding is a very messed up pattern that once again that breeder will list as a brindle even though they could be both patterns.

My Code Of Ethics

*I am a breeder dedicated to the dachshund breed, I want everyone to know that when I breed my dogs it is done with what would be best for them and for the puppies to come, knowing that they will be of top quality, and will be placed in loving and caring homes.

* I have been with miniature dachshunds for over 12 years and not one of my dogs or their puppies have ever had back problems other then those caused by abuse, or being over weight. I have heard that it can be hereditary too, but I have found that it is in the doxies that are EXTREMELY long, in what I like to call freight train dachshunds your average dachshund will not have problems if cared for correctly, and will live a long and happy life, most live to be 14 to 16 years of age, others have lived well into their 20's.

We feed our dogs Pro Plan Selects Turkey and Barley which has the highest level in calcium and mineral of any other adult dog food (that we have been able to find), which is good for their back and over all bone structure. In our opinion high calcium is a must for the Dachshund breed.

Our puppies eat Pro Plan small breed, which is 30% protein and also high in calcium, Our mother dogs are on the puppy food one week prior to breeding, we believe a good bone structure starts while they are developing in their mother, and continues through out their adult hood.

*I want to take this moment to help educate any new buyers weather you buy from me or someone else, this will explain why I don't breed for certain patterns.

*I do not breed dapples to dapples because of the risk of the puppies being born with the Lethal White Dbl.Dapple gene, puppies with this condition can be born blind, deaf, no ears, no eyes, or worse.

*I do not in-breed my dog.

*I will not knowingly sale my puppies to puppy mills, pet shops, or brokers.

*My goal is to breed dachshunds true to the breed standard set by AKC, in conformation, true in size, color, and pattern, with stable temperament, for loving homes, as pets.
